How does 3.0 Tesla MRI helps?
A 3.0 Tesla MRI uses powerful magnets and radio waves to create very clear images, helping doctors detect problems in soft tissues, brain, spine, and joints.
Detection of Abnormalities
  • It can detect brain tumors, spinal cord injuries, ligament tears, and early signs of diseases like multiple sclerosis.

How MRI scanning is done?
MRI scanning uses a strong magnetic field instead of radiation. The patient lies on a table that slides into a large tube-shaped scanner.
Preparation
Patients must remove all metal items. Sometimes a contrast dye is injected to highlight tissues. Ear protection is provided due to loud machine noises.
During MRI
The patient lies still while the scanner takes detailed images. It is painless but may last 20–45 minutes depending on the body part.
Post-Treatment
Patients can return to normal activities right away. If contrast dye was used, drinking water helps flush it out.
