The Institutional Review Committee (IRC) at Kathmandu
Medical College is an independent ethics committee responsible for
reviewing and approving health research involving human participants before the
research begins. Like other IRCs in Nepal, it operates according to the ethical
guidelines of the Nepal Health Research Council to ensure that
research is scientifically sound and ethically acceptable.
