The Kathmandu Medical College (KMC), a well renowned medical institute with its two teaching Hospitals located at Sinamangal, Kathmandu and Duwakot, Bhaktapur, conducts various programs of teaching, research, training and imparting knowledge of medical and paramedical sciences to those who aspire. Academics, research and service have always been the three strategic pillars that help us run courses for Undergraduate and Post-graduate Medical Degrees in several medical specialties and branches of medical sciences, offering degrees like MD, MBBS, BDS, MDS, B.Sc. Nursing, M.Sc. Nursing and BNS.

Affiliated to the Kathmandu University and recognized by Nepal Medical Council and Sri Lanka Medical Council, our institution is committed in its pursuits of excellence in providing the best academic facilities and a congenial atmosphere to its national and international students to study in a peaceful and serene setting.

Moving ahead with our mission to produce highly qualified health manpowers in health sector, a good human being and above all a compassionate social service provider; we are gratified to Medical Education Department, KMC who has been training our dedicated teaching faculties regularly on principles/recent practices of learning, teaching-learning skills, assessment tools and curriculum development.

The graduates we produce are eligible to compete globally for post-graduation as exemplified in the past by alumni appearing and cracking various international post-graduate licensing examinations like USMLE (USA), UKMLE/PLAB (UK), MCCEE (Canada), AMC (Australia) MRCP (UK), MRCPI (Ireland), FRCS (UK), MRCPCH (UK), MRCOG (UK) etc. And the success rate of passing above exams by our graduates is excellent.
